Use for bird window screens.

Using paracord as a hanging bird net in front of a window that suffers numerous bird strikes each year. The cord is easy to work with, I soldered the cut ends over the candle, that works fine.

Wasn't quite 100ft but worked for target

I measured the amount I got (because I needed two sections of 48ft each) and found I actually got about 98ft of product . up to 100 feet. A little disappointed but at least I had enough to finish my project.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Sparse instructions

You'll never have to buy another set of laces again.

This material makes an excellent lace for work boots and boots. It's a bit stiff and you might have to struggle to get it through the eyelets on your boots, but this material will hold up. It's recommended to tie the top knot of the boots with a double knot to keep the knot intact, but that's fine.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Good line. Breaking strength different than MIL-C-5040

Good cable, well made. They claim to have been tested and have an average breaking load of 550 pounds. MIL-C-5040H requires a minimum tensile strength of 550 pounds. This may or may not be important to you. The average tensile strength means that half of the BENGKU specimens are expected to fail at 550lbs, we expect none of the true MIL-C-5040H specimens to fail below 550lbs.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Great for survival

This is a great paracord for survival, tent building, etc. . I love the winter survival videos on YouTube and they use a lot of tent and campfire knitting. Also bought one to throw in the trunk of a car I salvaged the day before. on a mate's boat, told him I could replace them once we get back and he didn't think I had the rope so we bet on it. Always take a rope with you, you never know :)

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Used for medical masks

I was using paracord to make medical masks for hospital staff when my area ran out of rubber bands. It is extremely durable in the high temperature washing process they have to use in the hospital and is very convenient. This relieves staff ears and allows them to bind. This thickness and size was perfect and a lot cheaper than buying smaller rolls from my local campground at Walmart. It arrived very quickly and helped me make masks again much faster. Thank you!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not bad

Good quality but not up to the 100 feet ordered

Good quality. I use it to hang shade sails in the garden with quite some tension. It holds the knot well and I had no problems. I ordered 100ft and measured 5 lengths which would come out to be less than 100ft. When I got the fifth length I didn't have enough. I measured everything thinking I was going crazy and in fact it was about 6 feet. I ordered more to finish. For the price I can't complain, just wanted to know because I would have ordered a longer cable to start with.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Mil-Spec, Not Military Grade

Having served in the Air Force for over 30 years, I have always been skeptical of the overused term Mil-Spec (Military Specification). This cable has the reasonable number of internal cables and weight tolerances to meet military specs, but it's not what I would call military grade. This is a very stiff line and the outer wrap is rough. I can't imagine it ever being suitable for parachute use where it would rip apart fragile material. I bought this for a dog leash and it is uncomfortably stiff…

Pros
  • Decent Job
Cons
  • Other Other
