Bought to do a 2.5 liter swap on my Miata NC. I've seen other reviews that said the bar is curved and yes it has a slight curve. However, it can be easily smoothed out with little effort. The screws are the right size. THAT WILL WORK.

Overall this kit worked well. The rod/plate does not fit snugly into the grooves on the ends of the camshafts, allowing the camshafts to turn easily even with the plate in place. However, it is easy enough to keep the visual alignment of the cams. The needle worked fine.

We bought these in May but didn't start our project until July 1st so we can't even return this curved rod. As you can see in the photo, the rod is bent in the middle (there is a light shining underneath). The bar must be dead based on the videos we watched AFTER spending all our time using this bar. Because the crankshaft slots were bent, they weren't exactly aligned, causing our 2010 MZR Maxda3 2.0 camshafts to move a tooth, which then took us about 30 hours to get timing on the keylessβ¦
