Problems for beginners

I don't think this yarn is bad. It feels soft at first, but the more I knit, the worse it feels to my fingers. I am a true beginner and only bought it for practice. I've come across a few knots so far and I'm sure I'll find more. The yarn tends to unravel quickly and somehow I end up with loose strands on the needle pulling everything together. I'm not sure if these problems are typical, but they made learning a bit difficult!

This yarn is nice, soft and even in thickness. It only gets 4 out of 5 stars due to some thread separation when working with a particularly loose crochet stitch type. Obviously this is not the fault of the seller, but a small problem with the manufacturer. As a manufacturer of many types of yarn, Bernat is one of my favorite brands. Bernat Satin Yarn, Solid,

I chose this yarn because I wanted to knit the old shawl pattern. This is a vintage pattern and the original yarn is no longer available. In the pattern comments section it was suggested to use this yarn by doubling the threads to get a chunky yarn. I am very engrossed in my project and very happy with the purchase.
