I eat strawberries almost every day so I decided to give this device a try, especially at such a great price. I'm so happy I did! It works exactly as described - incredibly fast, easy to use, minimal waste and easy to clean (dishwasher safe). Highly recommended. Bonus: It takes up almost no space in my cluttered kitchen drawer.

When you prick a strawberry from underneath you need to aim correctly to get the stem. If you miss, he won't jump out of the pole. So it takes a little practice. To get to the stem, you need to pierce the best part of the strawberry. So you lose a small piece of fruit, but the cylinder you drill out stays in the tool. You can just suck it up like a straw. Basically, you can eat 100% of the fruit and 0% of the stem with this tool.

I'm a big fan of kitchen gadgets that make my life easier. But I still had to find a good way to remove the tops from the strawberries.
