I don't use it: power and hand tools

I have a TON of Bessy clips in my shop. But this thing is cumbersome to use and not very effective for me. and expensive at that

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Available in black only

I bought 2 of them and everything is fine. .

I bought 2 of these everything is fine. In order for the boards to be flush against each other, you have to make a little effort. Otherwise solidly built at a fair price.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Expensive

Finally a REAL 90 degree angle clamp!

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this angle clamp as I have had some in the past that didn't even come close to 90 degrees. However, this clamp makes PERFECT 90 degree angles with ease. I love that it also includes clips for table/bench mounting as it makes attaching small parts much easier. Bessey really does make the best clamps and this one is no exception!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Something different

Better than Clip-On Irwin

I bought this and the Irwin version at the same time for about the same price. I don't know why Irwin suddenly skyrocketed because it's bullshit and broke almost immediately. This one still holds. The only thing I generally dislike about the nature of this type of clamp is that it doesn't actually connect the boards together. Basically you need a separate clip to tighten them and then this one to keep them straight. Although it works fine for this purpose.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Disappear

You seem to get about 75% of the German clip for.

Bessey clamps have been used for years. These clamps are made in China, not Germany (or as some of my old WS 3s say "West Germany"). The handle is plastic rather than wood, there is no plastic hanger on top of the screw to hang the clamp on a perforated board, and the jaws are not as parallel as the German-made clamps I've compared them to. In short, they're not that well made. You seem to be getting about 75% of a German collar for half the price. I think it's a good deal but I'll use my…

Good product but the clip base is difficult to use with one hand.

How the clamp works: There is nothing under the jack to support the clamped parts. This causes parts to fall out before they can be clamped. To hold the wood and turn the jackscrew, I had to screw pieces of wood onto the worktable to support them while I tightened the clamp. There were no problems when using 2x4 boards or other large sizes. I have other clips of the same size and bought this one for picture frames and small trims. Overall this is a good item for my shop. If a less knowledgeable

Hmm - and no free returns

No idea why this gets such good reviews - Pros - it's sturdy, makes a 90° angle Cons - Tension clamps are a great idea but my workbench is too thick for them to use, so useless to me. Since I can't clamp everything together, it's very difficult to align the pieces tightly as both sides are tightened at the same time. Also, the base is very thick, nearly 1 1/4 inches, making it difficult to add a connector or support block to the other ends to connect the pieces in parallel without making a…

Quality useful kit

Model: Bessey Tools WS-3-2K 90 Degree Corner Clamp This corner clamp holds two work pieces at right angles for fastening[1]. The ability to attach this clamp to a workbench with the included adapters is what makes this clamp really good for me. This version currently costs about the same as the model without an adapter. Seriously consider buying this model as the adapters greatly improve the usability of this tool. While not perfect, I really like this clip. As with most other Bessey clamps I…

Great angle clamping system for bulky parts

What a great find! I cursed everyone who passed by and cursed my poor dog when trying to straighten large pieces of paper with pocket-hole screws. I decided that I would hop (100 miles one way) to the local joinery (big chain) and spend over a hundred dollars on four of their corner clamps. They had some serious limitations that these Bessey clips don't have. Love the plastic inserts and the fact that the clamps automatically adjust to differences in material thickness, even if one is 1/4" and…

Pros
  • Includes PLASTIC INSERT which can be used to clamp jaws when not in use
Cons
  • Can't remember
