Small, compact design is good. I bought three to use around the house. The detachable base is durable and is removed by pressing two latches. Overall the quality of this multi connector is much better than others I have used but there is still room for improvement. The top blue button turns off power to the top USB ports only. There is no switch on the sides to control 110 volt outlets. I solved this problem by buying several single port switches. (See photo)

Do you really need a product in a nice little compact design. I want to know that my electronics are protected in the event of a power surge. It comes with all the screws and accessories needed to mount it to a wall or table, which is nice too, although I chose not to use them. Many other power belts do without these. I even have a few that just used 3M double sided tape, which is useless for things like this. I plan to buy two more for the office and the kids.

I taped a cube to the side of the table so it wasn't visible. I routed the 2 lightning cables and the headset charging cable through the 3 plastic pen holders you placed on the counter to keep the pen and chain from falling off the table and attached them to the edge of my desk with velcro. When I need a cable, I thread it through the mount and plug in my device. When I'm done, I thread the cord through the grommet and it hangs down the side of my desk, all I can see is the plug. No more cables

Of course I wish Revane had half a star. This is a solid 4.5 star product. It's so close to perfect, but not *quite* - so I pulled myself together.
