Instructions require key insertion at least 6 times or more within 10 seconds. It almost makes you quickly put the key in and look at your watch. and don't worry about your hours or 6 or 10 or whatever. Just gently insert, take out, gently reinsert, take out and so on. Don't rush because it won't work if you're in a hurry. You will see the dangers flash up. That's all. Turn the key to the ACC position and press any button on the new remote control.

Easy to program at an affordable price but I also had issues where it worked and sometimes didn't which can be a shame. It also doesn't set off an alarm, just locking the doors, although the lights will flash as if the alarm is on. Also, be careful not to drop it as the piece will snap off! My favorite part is the trunk feature and of course the price, but I think I'll be looking for a more reliable and durable one if the one I have decides to stop working together.
