I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this unit was to install. It must have taken me 20-30 minutes. It is actually simpler in design than the OEM seat. Looks good which is important to me as I drive a lot with the top down.

My kids love riding in the back seat since I got a Bestop seat. It's very practical and if I need to transport something, folding it up creates a lot of space in the back. Many Thanks

This seat is perfect for a samurai. It's a shame why Bestop doesn't mention this anywhere. I was worried it wouldn't work, but it fits like a dream and is way better than the stock seat. Mine came in rough packaging, no nuts, bolts or clamps. I assume they fell out during shipping based on the box.

I put this on my 77 CJ5. It fits great and adds fantastic fold and fold functionality so I can still fit a full sized fridge or something in the back (not a passenger of course) or just fold the seat down when nobody is in the back. The quality seems good (not a great vinyl feel but feels good). All devices seemed to be good. I'm happy with them!

(2015 Jeep JKU) Definitely the best investment and upgrade! Perfect size for children under 12 years old. Be sure to slide the seat to the passenger side and raise the rear end at least 3 inches. This will move the seat further back about 3 inches. Make sure you can close the tailgate when the seat is in the folded position.

I have an 83 CJ7 - I had to remove the gas tank to install the rear latch plate. The big problem is that there is a crossbar under the bodywork, exactly where I would need to drill. If they made a back plate with a locking mechanism on the other side I could use a factory captured nut. The nuts appear to be very small and barely cover the holes in the brackets. I got it, but it was harder than expected. Good material and the black was a deep black. Love to bend and twist, east to work.

Bought from Revain, arrived within 5 days. No delays due to size. Installed it on my 1985 CJ-7, booted with almost no problems. All holes matched the factory holes in the parquet for the original seat.
