Difficult to install rear latch - excellent quality material
I have an 83 CJ7 - I had to remove the gas tank to install the rear latch plate. The big problem is that there is a crossbar under the bodywork, exactly where I would need to drill. If they made a back plate with a locking mechanism on the other side I could use a factory captured nut. The nuts appear to be very small and barely cover the holes in the brackets. I got it, but it was harder than expected. Good material and the black was a deep black. Love to bend and twist, east to work.
