The Betafpv F3 evo used to be my favorite tiny whoop flight controller. Now Betafpv F4 offers the same features but F4 is faster, more stable and comparable in price. I have built many whoop drones with different FC types. The BETAFPV F4 FC 1S Brushed Flight Controller goes well with my DIY build using the Brainbrain Cockroach frame. The main downside is that there are no buzzers (I have buzzers on all my other builds). I had to remap one of the TX/RX pins for the Betaflight buzzer function, but the current draw is so low that the audio is barely audible at 10ft. UPDATE: So I didn't use the OSD function before because my all in one camera didn't have an OSD. I got a new camera with OSD and all cables connected. And suddenly all my problems with failover and loss of bindings were gone. It doesn't make sense to me either, but here it is. This FC looks really great right out of the box, well done BetaFPV. I put it in a 90mm carbon fiber frame with no whoops and after a bit of PID work it flies amazing (this FC is tuned for Scream use). Mine came with Betaflight 3.4 (currently stable).
