This is normal depending on the application.

I bought this stuff as an experiment to make molded latex shells that I use instead of messing with fiberglass shells. It kind of worked, I heated the water to the recommended temperature but not all the beads melted and the water was just starting to cool so I took it out and shaped it as best I could. It's like a cold play-doh, I couldn't get an even consistency and thickness and I figured I could put it on a mat and roll it out with a rolling pin, but it just stuck to both items and didn't…

Fun and practical

It says non-toxic and I tested it and found it true. It's polycaprolactone. Polycaprolactone is used in long-term implants in the body. The study "In Vitro Degradation and In Vivo Toxicity of NanoMatrix3D® Polycaprolactone and Poly(Lactic Acid) Nanofiber Scaffolds" published in the Journal of Biomedical Materials Research Part A (2018) concluded that the trademarked polycaprolactone was not tested for toxicity. The product is not intended for medical use, but I'm glad the medical versions of it

Fantastic thermoplastic. Works with hot water, hair dryer or heat gun.

Pearls are initially white and become transparent when heated. Soak in 150 degree hot water for a few minutes. I prefer hotter water - 165 - but it might be too hot to handle. As you shape it, squeeze out the water. Press into shape, roll out and press into shape - use for simple repairs. Ideal for cosplay props and on-site cosplay repairs. If you are molding multiple parts, I recommend using a blow gun to soften the parts so they stick together. since hot water basically erases the mold…
