It's a lot lighter than stock and doesn't fit anything that's attached to my stock carb. BUT it works right out of the box. It lit up right away. It's not perfect at the top and sticks out a bit from the hole, but it's worth the money. I will convert the stock to a backup.

I've read a lot about After Market not working. Not sure what this is based on as it worked fine. I didn't even have to make any adjustments. Given the enclosed area you're working with, this is a little tricky. Obtain enough fuel lines/clamps to replace them. The only lag I experienced was a bad fuel line, so I got a stock line from my local parts store.

I read mixed reviews and decided to give it a try. Easy install, close enough to factory configuration, and it worked the first time. And then it started to flow. From bowl drain (valve fully tightened), vacuum ports, inlet ports, fill piston, everywhere. So I'm going to tear it down and see if I can fix it. Hopefully JB Weld will get my OEM back on track.

I've bought two or three of these carburetors and they never worked. The latter led me to this bad rating. I installed it and the quad started right away. Right, NO. After a few starts it ran for a brief second and stalled not to start again until I replaced the carburetor again. Bad product or I'm out of luck because I was guided in my purchase by great reviews.

This carb gets my Honda Rancher running smooth again. The throttle has become unusable, pulling the throttle up will not seat the throttle needle, causing the ATV to run rich or not run at all. Although this carburetor will work, it is not a direct OEM replacement as it does not use a connection to the air shut off valve. For the price it's a great aftermarket replacement, just set the idle and don't use the choke (if yours is stuck like mine).

Ordered and installed on one of my Hondas, works well, solves the float valve problem for the price of a whole carburetor. Initially, the float valve fitting would probably have been almost the same, or maybe more, I don't know? I ordered another carburetor as a backup for future problems with my other Honda rancher. The only thing I noticed is that it doesn't have a backfire protection circuit like the original factory carburetors, no big deal.

All in all a great working replacement carburetor for my '03 Honda Rancher. Other than not having a carburetor heater hooked up (you don't need one anyway if you live where it's not that cold) and a little throttle adjustment, everything worked fine and just revved up! Definitely not as well built as the factory carburettor (fuel line inlet was plastic) but still serves the purpose. But hey! It was 10% cheaper than the Honda dealership and it worked like a charm so I'm giving it 5 stars overall
