Indispensable for knitters

I have always hesitated to buy sewing needles for knitting. I'm a knitter! Sure, I can break down and crochet once in a while (I'm only human), but I knit, not sew. And of course I was wrong. Eventually broke and bought to fix an old comforter and now I can't imagine how I went without it for so long. It's a lot easier than trying to crochet edges and binds. You can do light, simple embroidery to really make your work stand out. And, just as important, it's a hotspot for working on those…

Good/bad needle depending on situation

I bought these needles for my grandma who wanted to start sewing again and I'm a bit in between with these. They are very strong and have good transparency, but the most important thing is that the needles are not that sharp at the top. Which wouldn't be a problem for a normal person, but my grandmother in particular doesn't have that good upper body strength and had a lot of trouble getting a needle through the thing she was sewing. A needle is a needle is a needle, right?

Wrong. I compared this needle to my other favorite yarn needle and found that the eyelet is slightly different and that difference makes these needles better than the ones I had. I don't remember what brand it was, but now I have a new favorite needle. I had no problem threading the worsted cotton into the needle I chose for this and the eye was not too big to thread through the back. I knitted the purl stitches on knitting needles no. 5 (3.75 mm).
