I have sennheiser hd 650 and Audio-Technica ATH-M50 as my main headphones for games and music. Amplifiers arcam fmj a19 and Chinese tube Bear. Sound from PC - Sound blaster zxr sound card with burson audio V6 operational amplifiers. There were 15 thousand free. I did not expect anything from the Beyerdynamic DT 990, I decided to buy it immediately at 600ohm, for the sake of interest. I must say right away that the toad was choking and while the headphones were on, I thought what a spender I…

Pros
  • 1. The sound is magical, it is different from other headphones in this price category. 2. The scene is truly limitless. 3. Comfortable.
Cons
  • 1. On recordings in poor quality (mp3 320), the vocals sound worse than on Sennheiser hd 650. All the shoals and lack of quality are heard in general. 2. You need a really good amplifier! PC sound cards and mid-range amplifiers will not work.

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

600 Ohm of impedance. Only headphones with an amplifier that can handle 600 ohms can be used to listen. I used a Creative Sound Blaster Omni Surround 5.1 sound card to hear what was going on (up to 600 ohms on headphones)

Pros
  • Superb, crisp, and detailed sound. Ears do not grow fatigued or perspire. robust, dependable structure.
Cons
  • Not detachable wiring.

Perfect product for any user!

Hung to the concerts of David Gilmour for two hours, barely returned to reality) Pros below: The sound, it just needs to be heard to describe how good it is! Comfortable design, you can really fall asleep in them. Open design allows you to communicate with the "outside world" without removing them) Got cons: After them, listening to music in other headphones will no longer work with the same pleasure as it was before. You quickly get used to the good) The sounds from the headphones can be heard

Practical product, nothing to complain about.

If at the first use there is discomfort at high frequencies - do not be alarmed, it will straighten out over time. At first, I could not listen for a long time without equalization with an equalizer. I'm an amateur, so this review is subjective. Pros: Sound. The sound is definitely top notch. BUT - opened only after a few months of use. Cons: The main drawback - specifically for my head turned out to be uncomfortable. The head is not large, the ears too. I wear headphones almost all day. After…

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

Very high quality product, it's not the first time I bought it.

Excellent product, the best quality.

Impedance 600 Ohm. You can only listen through a headphone amplifier that will pull these 600 ohms. I listened through a Creative Sound Blaster Omni Surround 5.1 sound card (up to 600 ohms on headphones)

Pros
  • Great, clear, detailed sound. Ears do not get tired and do not sweat. Strong reliable construction.
Cons
  • Not removable wire.

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

I had ATH M50x on the UR12 interface, they have a massive, head-shaking bass, but everything else somehow clashed with an overloaded sound. And the tops were blurry, no matter how I adjusted the equalizer. With the DT990, the top of the JDS Element II amp has tops. They do not ring, do not crack, they are neither more nor less, they are as they should be. Up to the point that it does not cause a "Wow" effect, because they perfectly reproduce both everything good and everything bad. I took them…

Pros
  • Good positioning accuracy, does not "smear" the scene. Good AFC. Compared to the ATH M50x, they sit on the head very softly and do not press, to the point that they are pleasant to wear.
Cons
  • The frequency response may not be bad, better than that of the M50x, but you still have to level it under the ear with a post-equalizer. But there is less alignment. Maybe it's my business, but I had to raise the bass, because it goes out too much when approaching 20 Hz, as if the membrane was not designed for this. I'm worried about the junction of the emitters and the head arc. It is made of such plastic, as if a little something would fall apart. But the rest is metal, and I would like to hope that the joint is also held by the metal, and not by this plastic, that it is simply not visible.

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

Some may not like the high frequencies, but they reproduce them in detail, on high-quality recordings qualitatively, on some high frequencies it does not really stand out, on low-quality ones - either the absence, or emphasized filthy chirping. Unmask defects of low-quality information or compressed material (if mp3 and the like). Probably for an amateur. There are no universal headphones for all. Listen before buying, well, or in a collection of high-quality headphones will not be superfluous.

Pros
  • High quality playback. Relatively affordable price. Ease of wearing. Cover the ears from the outside, and do not put pressure on them, velor ear pads. HF reproduce in detail, someone may say that it is emphasized, but I will say with restraint, Open - there is no excess pressure.
Cons
  • They require a high-quality source and an amplifier capable of operating with a load of 600 ohms. Extremely tiring on mp3, poking low-quality recordings. This is also a virtue (listen to quality recordings from a quality source). Poor-quality detail, edging the bow, from the cold. Some kind of leather-like material deteriorates over time, becomes sticky on top (it looks like it has been spoiled with alcohol), on the bottom, the material cannot be cleaned when salted, but this detail changes fortunately. The presence of HF may not please some. Open - the sound is heard by others.
