🌀 Enhanced Performance: Bgears 2-Piece Pack Cooling Fan Grill in 120mm Size Review

I was looking for these fan guards for a project that uses 12V 120mm fans for cooling. These grilles were needed for the outer cladding to protect the fans and fingers. The gratings are easy to assemble, look great and are really built for tough conditions. They don't flex and fit almost any 120mm fan setup. I think it's great value for money as a 2 pack and they get 5 stars.

They look flat in the picture. You are not. If you want a flat surface you'll need a fairly heavy hammer and something to act as an anvil. The outer diameter of the outer ring is 53 mm, the wire thickness is 1.6 mm. With step size enabled, you will see a thickness of about 4.5mm. The inner diameter of the holes is 4.5 mm.

I did not purchase this item for the intended use. I wanted to use it with my portable stove and it does a great job! The pots are more stable on the stove and I am very happy with this item even though I am not using it for its intended purpose.

I ordered this to prevent some cables getting into the fans in my FormD T1 and CoolerMaster ML120L V2 case. I had to bend the tabs holding the screws to create a gap, but otherwise everything works great.

I needed this to prevent interference from a riser cable being pressed against one of my fans. The grille holds pressure well, allowing my fan to rotate smoothly underneath. Also, a two-pack is great since you probably won't need four protected fans. Many others have come to Revain with more.
