Excellent purchase. I don't know how long the plastic clip will last, but if it breaks you can still thread the radio holder through your duty belt.

The holder can generally be used immediately. On duty he quickly collapsed! The critical component of the swivel is made of hard plastic that quickly broke, rendering the holder unusable.

My only complaint about this product is that the holster is connected to the belt clip. It's plastic and will probably break way sooner than I'd like.

This universal radio mount will not fit the radio made by my department. The radio actually fit but was too snug, pressed the side button and gave me an open mic most of the one night I used it. I would like to return this product but thought it would work and threw away the packaging after opening the product.

This radio mount works great and I am happy with it. It keeps the radio in place and moves with you as you get in and out of your car or sit in your seat. The radio I use is a giant brick and holds it in place very well. Just make sure the speaker is in the top half of the radio, otherwise you may not hear it as well through the fabric. I use an external microphone, so this is not a problem for me.

Looks good when you open the box. However, after using it for a couple of days, the device would come off my belt as soon as I was either in a regular seat or behind the wheel. When this happens I can snap the swivel back into the harness block; but when I sit down again, it doesn't last long. I solve this problem like this: Before I sit down, I have to turn the entire universal radio holder by about 45 degrees so that my weight doesn't push the swivel backwards.
