Review on Bianchi AccuMold Elite 7914S Universal Radio Holder: Secure and Swivel-Ready by Chris Chincuanco

Looks good when you open the box

Looks good when you open the box. However, after using it for a couple of days, the device would come off my belt as soon as I was either in a regular seat or behind the wheel. When this happens I can snap the swivel back into the harness block; but when I sit down again, it doesn't last long. I solve this problem like this: Before I sit down, I have to turn the entire universal radio holder by about 45 degrees so that my weight doesn't push the swivel backwards. As for the radio compartment, I use a Kenwood radio with a clip that can be worn separately on a belt. This complicates the placement of the radio when inserted into the universal radio mount tray. However, it stays in place and does not interfere with radio transmissions. As other reviewers have pointed out, the pivot on the back of the device is plastic, and when it starts to separate from the strap, the plastic part of the pivot begins to flex a bit instead of staying flat. If you are having trouble disconnecting a device, you should reconsider purchasing this device. If you are in a situation where you have to sit on a high-rise construction site and the device stumbles below, falls down and possibly hits another construction worker, then you have to worry about the functionality of the Bianchi Accumold Elite 7914S. Universal holder for radio.
