As some other reviews have said the arms and shoulders are odd. Sort of square, and the collar seemed to climb up into the face. I ordered a size up as some recommended. I think if I ordered my typical size (XL) it would fit better. I liked the stretchy material on the sides. This will help close the zipper.

I ordered XXL and it fits a little when zipped up but the side elastic seams allow for some deformation. Others have mentioned the shoulders and they have an odd flare on the shoulders that creates a slight gap in the back. Overall light as I wanted and true black; Not a bad vest for the price and I'm keeping it.

Used as part of Nebula's (Zeno: 21st Century Girl) costume for Halloween. PERFECT for that. The color is very similar to the picture/expectation. I love that it's not super plump but still has that quilted look. I bought another vest from the store and can return this one as I don't need it but I still love it!

The vest was delivered on time and exactly as advertised. It's a nice length - jacket length - and would work better over a long sleeve sweatshirt than a jacket. The outside shoulder seams stick out a bit instead of lying flat, but that's not a problem for me. I have washed and dried it and it is beautiful, soft and wrinkle free. 5 Start shopping.

I wanted this vest to work but I'm sending it back. I agree with another reviewer (probably more than one) who remarked that the armholes flare out in an odd way, as does the top of the armhole at the shoulder. It's like the vest was made for a footballer to wear over shoulder pads. Not an attractive look. I liked the red color, it's the main red, and the quilting is subtle, which I really liked. The neck is quite high, the landing is narrow. Hope this helps others.

Well I bought this vest about a year ago and only wore it once because it fits really tight. Originally ordered medium (I wear medium) and swapped for small (still big on neck and shoulders). Welt pockets don't have zips so aren't as secure as the ones they have, but are lined with soft fabric to allow hands easy access to the pockets. No scratches like some zippers. I used to have trouble with Lightning, but maybe I just couldn't get it to work properly. No more problems with it so I hope the zipper lasts. The fit is good - not too tight or baggy.
