Excellent materials! The mesh is thick and expandable. The material does not wear out easily. The soles are black which is great for durability and cleaning. The shoes are very light but very durable. They keep their shape without wrinkling in the toe area. This is a fantastic shoe at the right size and regular width for a medium width foot.

This shoe is sold as 'red' but does not look red in the picture nor does it look red in real life. It is a very deep and bright (near neon) orange color. The shoes are sturdy and appear to be of good quality. Of course, one rarely gets to test small children's sizes that often, as they tend to outgrow the shoe before they have a chance to wear it. I originally wanted to give this to my youngest son, but I ended up ordering the wrong size. Instead I gave them to my nephew as they were his size…

The shoes are so cool! However, the tongue is attached to the shoe, so they're more like drawstring flip-flops (which you can fix and wear). and made better than some. They also have a cool texture on the side. The only downside is that putting them on can be a bit difficult as the tongue is part of the shoe. And after the child put them on for the first time, an orange stain appeared around the junction of the rubber and fabric (for lack of a better word). Not sure if it was some weird school…
