The description indicates the dimensions of the packaging. This is not the same as the dimensions of the lamp. The bar, which contains two lights, is actually only 13 inches wide. I may need a second one to properly light my large image. It is a pity that the description was incomprehensible.

This block is probably good for small paintings, but not enough for paintings over 18" wide. I found this provided too much "hot spot" and poor light spread in addition to the light source itself. However, for the price paid, it's ok, but you get what you pay for. I found this light dim for a 24x30 inch painting.

Good stuff but not bright enough, can't adjust the light to get a picture where needed. I can't use it for the long image I wanted. Wanted to return but they didn't offer free shipping, they wanted to charge me $8 for the return. I will not buy from this seller again, there are others who care enough about returns and making sure the buyer is happy.

Place 4 of these around the house and they are fantastic. Can be adjusted from 100% to 0% power and has three different lighting settings. White / Yellowish (this is actually my favorite and the one in the pictures) / and a mix of white and yellow. I've taken pictures in different lighting conditions and some of them look like hot spots, but that's just my phone's camera. They don't look like that at all in real life and I actually rotated them deeper than usual to match my camera's look.

I bought three of these and they are useless. Why? Because the illuminated part has a diameter of 180 degrees. This means that the light not only hits the painting, but also the wall above the painting and the eyes of everyone standing in front of the painting. If you have a glossy frame, the light will bounce off it too. This is one of the dumbest designs I've seen, which is a shame as the rest of the device is pretty well thought out.
