Very pretty and sharp, great for thread and paper

I love how something as everyday and practical as scissors can be turned into functional little works of art like this set of scissors. Small scissors are decorated with decorative elements around the handle, both scissors are pleasant to look at and easy to use. The larger scissors (stork) has a nice colorful finish that looks so beautiful in real life. Both scissors are individually wrapped on their little cards and covered with a clear plastic clip that's glued on. These are wonderfulโ€ฆ

Spicy! - 1 elegant vintage scissors and 1 colorful everyday scissors

Love both scissor designs. The Rainbow Crane/Stork is colorful and youthful, but not childish. The bronze/copper plum color has a vintage European style that reminds me of keys in the olden days. The tension of the bronze scissors is stiffer/tighter than that of the rainbow. The tip is sharper and more pointed (careful!). The way it cuts seems more precise than a rainbow. The blades of the rainbow scissors open wider and slightly longer than the bronze scissors. You can see that in my photoโ€ฆ

Very high quality vintage style scissors that work great!

I used to do a lot of counted cross stitches and needlework. As a rule, I used my own sewing scissors instead of special needlework scissors. By that I mean I used what was available rather than the right pair. Both scissors are of excellent quality and quite sharp. They definitely look vintage and I even have crane scissors in my sewing box. Of course they are not as sharp as these. It's hard to decide which pair I like more, but I can say that I like both for different reasons. Both are madeโ€ฆ

Sewing Scissors Set for Beginners

I knit, embroider and sew. I have very expensive sewing scissors that I can easily cut fabric, thread and yarn with. My family was threatened that if they used these scissors to cut anything other than fabric, thread or yarn, I would give them up immediately. This is very serious. I wanted to carry some extra sewing scissors that aren't as severe, and they are. I would say that these are scissors for beginners. My mother, a keen quilter, also tried both pairs and like me she liked the moreโ€ฆ
