🚲 Bikehand External Bottom Bracket Tool: Compatible with Shimano Hollowtech II and BB9000 for Easy Installation and Removal of Bicycle Bike Review

I'm not a bike mechanic and needed something inexpensive to replace my brake discs with new wheels and this tool is for you. It works well with Shimano Center Lock disc brake caps.

Bought this wrench because I needed one for the Shimano BB-MT800 bottom bracket. The wording describing which bottom brackets this wrench will and won't fit is a bit confusing, but it won't work on the BB-MT800 without using the TL-FC25 adapter on the FC-32 end.

I was surprised that it doesn't fit my latest Ultegra BBR60 bottom bracket: apparently it needs an adapter or just a different tool compared to other Hollowtec bottom brackets. The plastic adapter shown in the product images may fit my BBR60 but I don't think the tool came with that part: at least if it was there it's gone.

I have removed and installed Hollowtech II (BB) bottom brackets on four different bikes with no problems using this tool. The dimensions and grooves of this tool perfectly match the grooves on the bottom bracket, allowing you to install bottom brackets without fear of tearing them off or damaging the anodized finish of the bottom bracket. I would recommend purchasing this tool if you need to remove a Hollowtech II BB bottom bracket.

The wrench is good. Wrench" at 2:05. This tool is not included. Why not turn it on!? This is a cheap plastic tool that won't cost you a penny if you buy in bulk. Tip: after a little Googling, I found that You can use a butter knife (it worked for me) or something similar instead of a plastic tool.

I needed a tool for a job and didn't want to spend a lot. That helped. The wrench on the other end is an added bonus. I used this to remove a really stuck bottom bracket shell and it was very difficult. Wrenches on either end meant I couldn't mount the tube on the end for extra leverage. After much trial and error, I finally wrapped the wrench in towels to keep it from digging in my hands and found a position where my entire body weight was on it and forced it to come loose.

I've only used the end of this Hollowtech II dongle but I've used it multiple times. This wrench is of decent quality - seems well made. It doesn't have the best finish - and the edges around the holes almost have a slight burr due to the punching/perforating process which may have been sanded down a bit in production. But these details may not be important to you. The tool is fully functional. and has a nice grip sleeve (similar to silicone). Overall good value for money.
