Good replacement for the stock Suzuki M50

This is a good replacement for the stock mirrors on the boulevards. Same size and shape. The only difference is that the tension nut on the base is smaller than on the stem, and the lever isn't exactly the same in length and camber. (I plan to move fast enough that no one notices). I've had other aftermarket mirrors that vibrate and blur at freeway speeds - they don't. Very stable reflection at all speeds.

  • Doping πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Great mirrors!: Parts

These are really good aftermarket mirrors. No fancy shapes, frills. Simply well built, easy to assemble, large mirrors with a mirror surface. Reminds me of stock mirrors that I removed from my Honda VTX 1300R '07. Like most mirrors these days, the mirror body is plastic, but the stem and all contact points are metal. Very adjustable with a lock nut on both ends. They work great. Excellent rear view. Nice and tight after twisting it.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Nothing here

Ideal for e-bikes or motorbikes. double view.

Robust design protects against wind and vibration. The rigid ball joint provides the final alignment. Compared to standard round mirrors, the long geometry provides a single mirror with a dual lane view, including a clear view of a rapidly approaching clown. So for use on an e-bike, I think a mirror mounted on the left is sufficient. Note in the photo the placement under the bracket which after 90,000 miles on the Moto-Guzzi I can tell you is the preferred position on the day you hit something…

Suitable for set and forget application

Hard to tell if you'll like something like this unless you see it in person before you buy it, although this time I have no buyer regrets, there are a few things that I want to say about this one want to talk about the product. 1) They are very difficult to adjust on the fly, you will need a wrench if they break on the go. Their range of motion for adjusting on the fly (read, while driving, or without tools) is next to useless. 2) They're fairly stocky, which is fine for my applications, but…

Great mirror for the price!

I like the aesthetic of the stainless steel mirrors compared to the plastic mirrors I had on my bike. I also like that you can lock two joints for viewing without sagging. They are still easily adjustable via a wedge connection on the back of the mirror housing; So on-the-fly adjustment is possible, but it makes sense to first use a wrench to get the detent joints as close to the ideal position as possible while sitting still in the driveway. I have a complaint that is not related to the…

Motorcycle Mirrors Review

I wanted decent but inexpensive mirrors for my motorcycle as the ones supplied were pretty much junk. So much is too expensive, and so many other things just look fancy. There are also those that are made entirely of plastic, which at least means that they are not left in the sun for long. I liked them as they were stainless steel/chrome at a reasonable price. Actually, I still like her. But be ready to solve the problem. The screw holding the mirrors to the 'ball' or pivot hinge on one of mine

  • Update available

The 2009 Vulcan 500C rider is here. We've had a string of very hot and muggy days here in North Carolina combined with really heavy rains and even under my heavy duty outer cover the little ball joint holding one of my original mirrors failed leaving my mirror shattered on the ground but held up rod, ha! Kawa brand mirror assemblies are $55-60 each, so I figured it would be a good choice to try them for $17 including tax (when I got them). And indeed, "solid" is the best way to describe them…
