Improved BikeMaster Spark Plug Guard Review

They work great. Simply place a cotton swab on the end to keep the connector from rattling and for smaller diameter connectors you can use the cardboard sleeve provided to prevent the threaded end from moving.

Fits BR7ES (3 1/16" length/OEM 17' KTM 300 xc connector) with only a slight rattle. I put a small felt washer in both ends and the fit was the I will be using this in my waist bag tool kit to keep my extra motorcycle fork dry and protected.

Works well, keeps spark plugs clean and intact. The NGK BR8ES connector is a bit tight but fits. NGK BK6RE fits perfectly. Star knock because it seems like water could get in through the threads without the o-ring. I haven't had a chance to test it in a wet place yet.

Fits NGK ZGR7GI for KTM/Husqvarna TPI '18+ bikes with approx 1/16" headroom. An O-ring has been added to make it waterproof , the perfect size to carry a spare with your tool box I've only gone out a few times (5.5 hours) the interval I set has stayed the same As for durability, time will tell I'll report back in a few months.

This guard is more suitable for NGK C8EH-9 Spark Plugs (7473), but NGK spark plugs come with a small cardboard tube to protect the electrode and gap ( see Photo ) that can be inserted into the protector to keep it from rattling inside. The protector looks solid and seals well. It must be completely submerged in water to allow moisture to penetrate.

I've tried bike and snowmobile spark plugs in it. They have a diameter of 14 mm, long threads and an electrode base. So I can't use them for anything other than my chainsaw and lawnmower forks. OH I DON'T NEED THIS FOR MY CHAINSAWS AND LAWNMOWERS. THEY ARE NEEDED FOR MY MOTORCYCLE, SNOWMOBILE AND ATV. So in this case they are totally useless for the purpose I bought them for. Try elsewhere, they won't work for anything that has long thread spark plugs.
