I have a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R. Adding this item will make it impossible to pull the stock guide housing to the inner tube. In order not to pierce the gland and not to do it again, I had to cut it off. What a waste of money.

I knew they would fit my Scout because some other Scout owners have them and they said so. They have a great retro look, a good price and really protect the fork seals. They should be a bit larger as they are about 2mm smaller than my forks.

2017 octane perfect fit and leak proof so make sure you use some kind of liquid when you put them on they don't sit and move, no screeds or anything else you need. I put them on and I'm not worried about them moving. would definitely recommend protecting your forks and seals from all road debris which in turn will extend the life of your forks and of course improve the look of the bike.

I really like them. Adds a nice look to the bike. It was too painful for me to remove the wheel and forks, so I just cut them at the seam and stuck them onto the forks like that. Used super glue gel to seal the seam and some black zip ties to finish it off. Although the bike has a 41mm fork and these boots are a size 39 they still work well but I would recommend getting the right size for your bike. Holds up well so far.

I purchased black 39mm fork boots (P/N 666760) and they are perfect for the 2019 Yamaha XSR700. They are quite thick and appear to be of good quality. You have to squeeze the top to lower them onto the steerer, but not too hard lest they slide down. The bottom also overlaps the bottom of the fork quite closely. They don't need zip ties at all, and they're elastic enough to compress and stretch so they don't move. Highly Recommended!

I was looking for a good value set of good quality fork boots. They fit my Victory Octane. Although the 41mm forks are larger than the 39mm rack, they fit the bike perfectly. A small issue noted by other buyers is the lack of a way to drain the liquid inside or equalize the pressure. I drilled a few holes to fix this but it's not a problem for me. I will most likely update my review in the future if there are any durability issues.

Great stuff. The thick rubber and 39mm diameter fits my 18 Scout Bobber perfectly when cutting the top step. I followed another reviewer's advice by cutting them lengthwise and then gluing them together with Locktite brand gel super glue. Move the edge back and it becomes invisible. Functionality and fit are excellent. This is a simple, inexpensive mod to protect your forks from bugs and fragile fork seals. With this method, the application takes 20 to 30 minutes.
