I'm pretty sure I couldn't put the nuts back in.

Good assembly. Works as it should. I'm pretty sure I couldn't fit the nuts with a deep socket or wrench as it's quite difficult to hold the spring.

the right tool for the job

works like a charm. I have mini monkeys so I still had to remove the handlebars to get the job done, but there are no scratches on the fork caps and it's MUCH easier to depress the spring during reinstallation with this low profile bushing.

Great tool for the price!

Mandatory for any Harley owner who needs to remove front fork caps to install progressive kits. lets you Remove and replace the 1 3/8 fork caps without removing the handlebars. Well done for the price. A regular sized outlet WILL NOT WORK unless you remove the handlebars.

Much better quality than I expected. They didn't send me the ones in the photo. my black one It worked great. The flat surfaces are deep enough to hold the flare nuts well, but shallow enough that the nut doesn't go into the bushing and the fork spring bends. The spiral spring makes it very difficult to tighten the nut.
