Good, but room for improvement

The product looks good. I've had it installed so far, but I would recommend the manufacturer that they have a different bracket system to hold the fork in place. I ended up getting a different washer and used my factory mount.

Cons
  • The list is long.

Double o-rings on this one.

Holding a washer out of the way is not ideal as it puts a side load on the plug rather than being held at right angles although it most likely won't leak anyway I used the original hold down clamp and bend them slightly so the load is more concentrated on the fork. There are no leaks at all.

Not worth it for a race car

My plug fitted well and didn't leak but the bolt/washer holding it doesn't seem to fit. The washer holding the fork had less than a 16th bite on the fork. Sitting in a race car with an exhaust pipe next to it seems sketchy. I contacted the manufacturer and they said that was the case.

Worked as intended for the th400 drivetrain

Came as intended, used the truck for about 10 hours and haven't seen a leak yet. The only problem I noticed was that the aluminum was too sharp, as if it hadn't been cleaned enough after machining. I had to use Scotch Bright to clean it up a bit. The price is not bad considering it is a machined part.

Cons
  • I'll write back
