The inner foam/rubber gasket fell apart not only clogging my filter but leaving all sorts of junk in my carburetor. It also fades within a few months. Do not buy!

Do not buy this item. The pad broke on the first use. I had 93 octane gas in the tank, it wrecked my fuel system. Not worth the hassle, money or time.

The hose and vent came loose in the first few minutes so plan on buying additional vent hoses. I added a tiny bit of Dan glue to the breather replacement and it hasn't come loose...yet.

Typical billet gas cap, nice job. It would be nice to just screw it on and call it good, but the spacer that comes with it is too flimsy. It will leak, you need to replace the gasket with a thicker one. Everything else is fine. Therefore only 4 stars.

Cap leaking on my son's YZ250. The double seal was still leaking. Finally used the red piping, very thick gasket and it stopped leaking. The lid itself also seems to be well made. The color is good, there are no burrs etc. Not sure I will buy again. We'll have to see how it goes.

Complete bullshit screwed up bike riding. I noticed a small gas leak nearby, took it off and the rubber they used on the bottom fell apart, some went into the tank and I had to take the tank off to flush until I could get it out. It wouldn't be value for money if it was free.

Pay attention to other reviews - the rubber seal on this cover deteriorates very quickly, within days or weeks. When this first happened to me I thought I had done something wrong and asked for a replacement. Many thanks to the seller who very quickly sent me one free of charge but unfortunately the new one did the same. Don't buy this hat.

The good thing about this product is its design. The bad news is that the short rubber hose has already hardened and the valve will come loose while riding. I tried securing it with a hose clamp but gave up because there was no length to stop the clamp from the valve side. I couldn't help it, so I used the original hose instead of a valve. The other day when I was looking at the back of the cap while filling up, the seal on the cap came loose and dirt got into the tank! I couldn't believe it…

Ordered this cover for DRZ400 in March 2021. I only ride the bike for 2-3 day adventure rides. Since the purchase in March 2021 until today I have ridden twice. When I went to fill up recently I noticed that the gasket that used to be in the cap is now gone (because it fell into the tank) and fuel was leaking out the top of the tank where the cap sits while I was driving . When I got home I had to take the tank off the bike and drain all the fuel to get the bits of dry, hardened and cracked…
