Worked very well for my F150

My last Chevy came OEM with them and I've had over 100,000 and they still worked. So I put them on my F150, two or three times the price of other shock absorbers. And I could immediately say that the trip has become much better now! Worth the extra cost.

Much better than OEM

Much better than the OEM shocks on my 2004 F150. Be ready to use your arm muscles to push them. This was the only difficult part of the installation. Otherwise they are very easy to put on. A. I put them on with the boots underneath, I think that's correct as the printing on the shock was legible in that orientation.

Excellent quality and value.

Excellent, driving performance has improved significantly. The old shock absorbers were completely worn out, they are even better than the new ones. Also great quality. They have a strap that keeps them a little compressed, that's not enough for installation. If you jack the truck up a bit when the axle goes down you can put in a shock absorber or use a pry bar to compress the shock absorber an inch.

Got it. No problem

I just replaced my Pro Comp es9000 on the back of my 2008 F150 with these. No competition! It's much better to go with Bilstein. Not only that, you can already tell the quality from the damper. Super well built, great ride. Don't waste your time on anything else. I will be replacing the Rancho Quick Level front stays with Bilstein ones.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Some problems

2006 Ford F-150 XLT 5.4L v8 Good fit easy to install you can see a good difference. Keep them tethered during installation, otherwise you'll have to recompress them yourself, making things a bit more difficult. If you keep them connected, position them, and then cut them, they will slowly expand and you can insert the screw if it's in place. I hope that makes sense.

Quality at a competitive price. Very easy to assemble

Very easy to assemble, the damper had to be compressed an additional three inches to fit my 2006 4x4 f150 5.4l. I've been with them for 3 weeks now. They met or exceeded my expectations. Seems like a good deal for the money. I have a Rancho Quik lift up front. They complement each other well. The shoe is aligned with the bottom of the shock, which seemed wrong to me, but the manufacturer's website is correct.
