The hard plastic parts of the case don't feel strong, but we had no problem holding it for occasional use. The rubber parts are easy to hold during use and mostly stay snapped into the hard parts. The only real gripe is that the stand is really difficult to disengage from its closed position (it usually requires use of a utensil to get in there and pry it out).
