I bought this for my home. The price was right, but it only gives me a marginal improvement in reception on my scanner. I expected more but then again it was very cheap.

Depends on what you use it for I use it for my truck fire scanner but it only works around town only I'll pick up beats and the world in the nearest town, but you get what you pay for.

I got this for my Uniden BCT15X Bearcat and while reception isn't much different between this and the standard antenna, the flexibility to mount it anywhere works wonders for tight/budget setups.

I used this to install my friend in his car and this antenna has good quality and reception. Please remember to coil the cable instead of coiling it up during installation. If you don't coil and fold the entire cable, it will become unusable

I installed this in my Ford Expedition's antenna and was a little suspicious of how it would work and pick up scanner frequencies with no static. I have to say that I am very surprised and happy with the results. come with it I don't think you can get anything better for the money!

I bought this to replace the 6 inch rubber antenna that came with the scanner. I stuck the antenna to the open window as instructed. The reception is exactly the same as that of the scanner. with 6" rubber antenna. Maybe it would be better if installed outside above the roof. I will look at it later.
