They are great for running coax cable through a window antenna system. With traditional connectors in particular, the rigid coaxial cable exits perpendicular to the window, making it difficult to close blinds and curtains. When installed, the coaxial cable runs parallel to the window and can run under the bottom of the blinds and down the side when the blinds are closed.
