size XL fits my Pitbull perfectly. Lg think I can be too tight in the neck. It was also a soft material and wouldn't stretch as much as knit sweaters. I think this article would be better for a female. It's gone too far for my dog so he ends up urinating on it when he uses it. In the end I returned it.

I love this sweatshirt and my dog does too! It's a little tight around the neck, but it also helps keep it in place because I usually have trouble with a neck that's too big! It's not that soft and a bit expensive but I give it 5 stars because my tucker looks adorable in it. It fits perfectly around the chest, shoulders and neck but is slightly longer. Tucker is an American Staffordshire Terrier. such a thick and stocky but short body. It's very hard to find clothes that fit him and it's pretty damn close to anything I've ever found.

I have a German Shepherd mix and his sizes are weird, he's between a size 9/10. I have two pits, because of their weight I bought XXL. Although the one on the right appears larger, it is only larger.
