I LOVE this thread. The glass packaging (which you fill yourself) is not only environmentally friendly, but also very pretty! I'll find any excuse not to floss, but with reusable packaging and biodegradable flossing, I have no reason. Sometimes floss also cuts my gums but this product is softer than I'm used to but still strong enough not to break.

Plastic-free dental floss, what more could you ask for?! It's great to see and find a 'natural' toothpaste with packaging that reflects their product. I used to love those little plastic flosses, but I can't take it once they're used. It's time to find a floss that works well and my conscience doesn't mind using it.

Slightly thicker than regular floss which was stiff at first from clenching my teeth too tightly. However, once I figured out how to insert the thread, everything worked. The string also wears out a bit but stays together. The thread also had a mint flavor.

Two problems: * There is only one thing at the top to wind the filament so the filament rolls back into the bottle. Every time I used it I had to take the top off and pull the thread back out. * The thread gives almost nothing. Because it had to be pulled down hard to get between my teeth, the floss damaged my gums with every pull.

. There is absolutely no reason to use nylon (plastic) dental floss, even if you are vegan, when it is such a cost to the animals of our planet. Everything has it's price. If you are looking for a thread that will never break, the area around it will not break if you throw it away, and a poor animal will most likely suffer the consequences. Have you ever seen what happens to marine life when our plastic filament inevitably enters their habitat? I don't think I'll ever forget the image of that…

I have been looking for eco friendly filament since almost 2015. I came across this product and was dying to try it. Love the little reusable jar and the fact that the filament is compostable. Unfortunately, the thread constantly tears during use. Even my teeth aren't clenched very tightly and I've tried to be very delicate, but still I have to use 4 separate cords for each flossing session. It often breaks with a little pressure. I really liked this product. The idea is so cool! Unfortunately, as soon as I opened the boxes (I ordered two) I noticed that both tops were smudged and looked dirty. There are greasy fingerprints on the sides of the metal plate - not mine! In all of this were someone's greasy bare hands.
