These make great bags but they don't have the bpi logo on them so I can't compost them. I really hope that will change soon.

First I just want to try. OMG these bags exceeded all my expectations. They are the same quality as food grade vacuum bags. They are nice and thick and hold the pressure well.

My family used to use quite a few vacuum bags for vacuum cooking or storage because we are really concerned about plastic bag pollution. But now I don't have to worry about that anymore. I can use these biodegradable vacuum bags to store food and make delicious meals in a vacuum. Thank you Vesta!

Closes well and sucks in air very well. I used them for sous vide carrots and asparagus. Unfortunately, the claim of biodegradability is misleading as any such product must be handled properly in order for it to biodegrade. Just throwing it in the trash or recycling it doesn't mean it's biodegradable.
