I bought this workbook for a homeschooled high school student who was having trouble with high level biology text. This book covers all the basics. Read a page, answer several questions, and draw answers from the text. ELA and science as far as I understand!

Only about half of the worksheets are for a regular biology class and some of the worksheets have answers that were typed randomly (easy to correct with white ). If you are new to teaching biography or homeschooling, you may find this useful when the children need more practice with a concept but don't have a lot of time to get things done.

I started homeschooling my 15 year old daughter and this year she had to take biology. This book contains only worksheets, but no context from which to draw information. She has no way of getting information to answer the questions on the worksheets. I do NOT recommend this book for home schooling. This may be useful for students who are in school and have other reading materials that may provide information to answer questions, but this book is not a standalone book.
