Best Switch Ethernet Adapter

This is the best ethernet adapter you can buy for a switch. While mislabeled and should be corrected, this allows you to have an aesthetically pleasing dock for your Switch without the warts dangling from the back. Works the same as any adapter. It costs extra money.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Bothers me

Also does what it's supposed to do

Wanted to get an ethernet option for my switch and it worked with no problems. I had to unplug and plug it back in a few times before the Switch recognized it and proceeded with the wired setup, but everything else was smooth after that minor hiccup. When you unplug the Switch, it switches to Wi-Fi, but once you put it back on the dock, it doesn't automatically switch back to Ethernet.

Pros
  • It's done
Cons
  • Can I add something

Looks cheap but works

When I first got this item I had some issues with its design, even if it was sometimes used instead of the metal part for the ethernet connector, they only used solid plastic and mine was a bit bent but after you had it turned on it was really working and I get a lot more improvements compared to Wi-Fi so I'm not saying it's bad but they could work on improving the quality especially for such a high price.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • unreliable

A great option for a WORKING ADAPTER!

This is a good alternative as there are no usable power adapters for Nintendo Switch. I tested this on my home network and with friends. I have Spectrum 200 down (no fiber in my area yet) and it has ATT fiber. I was getting consistently low 30s on my network, which doesn't seem great on paper, but I didn't notice any lag when playing. .Though he didn't get much better than me. I'm not sure if it was user error or a setting. It was great for my needs and I recommend it to others. Note, however…

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Thin

Nintendo Switch AC Adapter - just like everyone else in it, literally

As of update 6.2.0, Nintendo Switch only supports 2 USB Ethernet chips and only one is USB 3.0 conforming to ASIX AX88179. Therefore, any network adapter that works with the Nintendo Switch and is specifically compatible with USB 3.0 will contain the same ASIX AX88179 chip. This power supply from Bionik is one such device and has the added benefit of being completely concealed within the docking station. Some AC adapters (e.g. Revain Basics) work, but the cord length is too short for the dock…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Something is wrong
