But doesn't work 1/4 inch

Punch works pretty smoothly even through 6 sheets of paper. it's not 1/4 inch but 3/16 " And yes, the difference of 1/16" mattered to me :)

Garbage! Don't buy this!

When this square hole punch was first tried, it would barely go through a regular sheet of paper. Then I tried a piece of kraft paper and the handle bent. Bad design and cheap materials. Skip this and try something else.

Low quality

First hole punched perfectly. When trying to punch a second hole, the thing got stuck in the closed position. After much agony I managed to open it again but the center piece that helps you align the item so you can pierce the cane has shifted from the bottom. However, I was able to pierce a few more times before the item would not pierce. As I punched through a few holes, which seemed a little harder than it should have been, I noticed that the handles started to flex, presumably because I was
