Birdwell toilet brush

I have already ordered this brush and it is really good; However, it arrived with broken bristles. It was put in a pocket. I need it now so I'm keeping it and will try to get it working without scratching the toilet. (It has a metal wire in the bristles.) They'll need to pack it better in the future, though. It's a shame to take something good and ruin it by cutting off the packaging.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

Didn't last very long

Unfortunately had to be replaced after 6 months and ended up in landfill, which negates the purchase of an environmentally friendly product. I bought this to replace my plastic toilet brush which I noticed was emitting microplastics into the water. I was mostly satisfied with the immediate effect of this brush, but the bristles became dull and deformed after the first use. It got worse and worse over time until it stopped working. Also, the bristles take too long to dry and become covered with…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Thorough, durable, good

UPDATE: August 2019 purchased May 2018 These toilet brushes are in good condition. Note that after repeated use they initially retained a slight yellowing. They might have been "discolored" but they worked fine. I recently noticed blackening in my bristles so I soaked them in hydrogen peroxide for an hour and they rebounded. Not sure if it was mold or something but they are used in a different toilet and sometimes there is a puddle of water in the toilet brush basket so it doesn't fully air dry

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin
