There is nothing wrong with the product. I just didn't like the way they "looked" on me. Unfortunately I had to pay $24 to ship them back to you.

I have sent them back and am waiting for a refund. I they were too big and also too wide. I have 5 other Birkenstock shoes, sandals and boots in size 39 that fit perfectly. I might order "wide", but they were very large.

After happily wearing size 3 Birkenstock sandals all summer, I ordered them to keep my toes warm and comfortable during the North Carolina winter. To accommodate the thick socks I ordered 40 pieces which is perfect. They are attractive and easy to put on and take off when I take off my outdoor shoes to enter the house. If you have wide feet / high arches / middle toes and don't care about style = this is perfection. As an added bonus, they work really well when you have to walk on icy surfaces. I have oiled leather and I think it wears a little better than shiny leather. I sprained my foot badly and had to wear the boot for 2 months. It was the only winter shoe that fit me afterwards.
