Doesn't fit best in Vacuum Cleaner Parts & Accessories

I sat there for quite a while contemplating how to make it work then I just decided it wasn't worth it and now I'm rejecting it Vacuum against the wall to keep it upright in the closet!

Pros
  • Positive Only
Cons
  • Neutral

It works, but factory design demands ransom too often.

Exactly the right solution for my vacuum cleaner, but it sucks to buy more from time to time. That means it works, but not for long. This is not the fault of the product. The problem lies in the original design. Thin plastic only breaks after moderate use.

Pros
  • Not cheap, but decent
Cons
  • Reliability

Confirm this works with Bissell 82H1

The part listed was originally discontinued and nobody on the internet has it or can offer a replacement. Eventually I went to my local vacuum and sewing machine store (Green's in Medford, Oregon) and they were able to match the original OEM part number to this one. I ordered and installed. Functions!

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • unreliable

Imprecise fit due to poor tolerances

The part is very close to factory and fits but will not perform as intended due to excess flash that was not removed during the casting process. Instead of jumping into position to keep the vacuum upright, you have to physically snap that lever into position. It will remain in this position once in place, but will not automatically stand up if you "park" the vacuum with the handle upright.

Pros
  • Aerosol 🔥
Cons
  • Negative present

Just what we needed

I've known for a few weeks that the lever on the vacuum was broken and as a solution I started leaning it against the back of the cabinet. It's a $40 vacuum, but it's still working fine after a few years. I just chalked it up to wear and tear. One day my husband noticed this and asked me to order a part even though I thought it was a waste of time. Arrived quickly, repaired in 10 minutes. Vacuuming with a kid in one hand is MUCH easier if the vacuum doesn't fall over every time you let go.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • For a long time

Type of work suitable for spare parts and accessories for vacuum cleaners

The part is easy to insert (thanks to the instructions in the YouTube video). The release lever is too thick and does not automatically lock when the vacuum cleaner handle returns to the vertical position. I have to lift the lever with the toe of my boot, and then he holds the grip up. It's certainly better than the one that broke, but not as good as the original before it broke. However, I am not complaining. I can live with this minor inconvenience for the $6 I paid for it.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time

Different but works

I like that it looks like my Bissell Powerforce 1398 model. Shown on the left is my original broken trigger. I ordered the right one from Revain. I had a cracked trigger that was completely broken and I couldn't keep my vacuum upright unless I put it on an object. I put this in and immediately saw that it grew larger and couldn't clear the top of the vacuum. So I took it out to see why it wouldn't come loose. In the center of the trigger circle on the right inscription, it was much thicker. So…

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Hard to tell
