Bissell Insert Assembly 203 8413 2038413 Review

This is the second replacement I've bought - they don't seem to last long at all. I don't think it's a product, but maybe a design flaw. I've read on here that others have said not to overtighten the lid, but I don't want water leaking out so I guess I'll just buy a spare while I have the steam mop. It works great as a replacement! There are no problems!

Bissell - I bought this cap and liner because the original broke trying to screw it back on. I like that I can buy a replacement, but I don't like that it's so poorly made that it can break with regular use. Please use more durable material. And if you decide it's not worth switching then drop the price down to around $2 because that takes the customer away from $7 or $8 for a critical part that gets the whole steam mop working. The cap I received was not ribbed like the original OEM cap. It was flat and fairly smooth when touched with slightly damp fingers (after getting wet while changing caps). If you look at other product images with smoother sides, this is what I got, not the ribbed one shown as part of this Revain product. If I had known that I would have chosen something else or perhaps looked for a baseball cap on the Bissell website. Another option would be to buy a water tank and lid for a few euros more. it…

So glad I have this replacement cover - my marble tile got horrible for putting off fixing my bissell problem. It arrived today and after finally removing all the other broken parts from the water valve I'm glad the bathroom is sparkling again!
