Description of Bissell OEM Deep Reach Pet Stain Tool - Part Number 2037412 (203-7412)

Bissell hasn't changed the fittings for their various hand tools in several years. Which means all their different styles of hand tools are interchangeable.

Water leaks far beyond the machine at the sides and .

The water overflows the sides of the machine and you still have to physically clean the carpets, so a regular hand brush will work just as well and then clean with a regular nozzle.

This is not a genuine part sold by Bissell.

Should have paid attention to negative reviews. This thing squirts water onto the sides, not just the stain, making a huge mess. Also, this is not a genuine part sold by Bissell. I returned it.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Can hurt

Get a cheaper nozzle

Used twice then it started splashing on the sides, good if you have to take a shower unexpectedly! I thought maybe something was clogged, so I cleaned the anus of dirt and used a faucet sprayer. I'm still wet! Now with a less expensive mount and it works great.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Ideal for removing dirt from carpets!

I use this tool quite often as I have an older dog who has diarrhea frequently. Works much better than the standard head. It makes sense to spray the cleaning solution under the dirt and suck it up. Works great even when the mess is partially dry. The only complaint I have is that there are a few spots on the head where dog hair collects and I can't figure out how to get it off without taking the head apart. The purchase is definitely worth it.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • is embarrassing

Don't waste your money

I bought this tool when I bought my Bissell 3624 SpotClean Professional Carpet Cleaner because I have three pets that I have from time to time, specifically for pet stains. I was wrong. It was a waste of money - it sprays everywhere within a three foot radius instead of focusing on the stain even when I press it firmly to the carpet. I had more soapy water on me than on the carpet. I removed it and tried the all-in-one deep capture tool and had much better results without spraying. My advice…
