German quality at a fair price

I've been shaving Bismark for about two weeks now and I'm very satisfied. This is a beautiful handcrafted razor and is very easy to shave. Mine wasn't ready to shave yet. Oh, it would cut hair right out of the box, but it would be a pretty uncomfortable shave. One jump wasn't enough for me. I did 10 laps on the 8000 grit stone, then 20 on the 12000 grit stone before refueling. To sharpen it (assuming there are no chips or cuts on the blade), I recommend my 4-step series of professional sharpening stones (finish with an extra fine 12k grit for a luxurious finish): (1) Naniwa Chosera 3000 grit (2) Naniwa Chosera 5000 grit (3) Naniwa Snow White 8000 grit (4) Naniwa SuperStone…
