The bases themselves are second to none. You must stay long. Unfortunately, the equipment for their installation was completely absent. To be fair hardware can vary from quad to quad. I can't complain that the hardware wasn't right for my machine as it was completely absent.

This 81/2 inch high footrest is sturdy and perfectly sized for ATVs with an optional rear seat. The footrest is constructed of aluminum with a gloss black finish and comes with all mounting hardware, the top of the footrest is 4" x 4 1/2" and the bottom is 4" x 5 1/2".

Installed on my 2021 Polaris Sportsman 570 and works great. No more legroom sharing with my lady. Her boot would have made it difficult to get up or move my shoe/boot but not anymore lol. But there are no pre-drilled holes as advertised. Therefore, you need a drill and a solid drill.

On my 2019 Grizzly I had to make some metal parts so they just wouldn't stick to the plastic floorboards, wife wanted to be able to stand on them, but they are strong enough to hold my 400 pounds . Okay, these are way better than the ones you tie to the rack without putting pressure on the plastic body parts.

The product itself has good design and performance. My only problem is they sent me two, one more! There's not much difference between the two, but c'mon man, up your quality control! There are only four ratings for this product and the QC failed two of them, which is a 50% QC rating and is not acceptable by any standard!

An absolute must for a two person setup, and the fact that it's bolted to the floorboards and is made of rigid aluminum makes me more stable than the fold out wing style, not to mention your footprint is like that much larger which allows you to actually lean on them with your foot and not just the back of your heel. I used them in my T.Flight Hotas X gaming chair I mounted them on the bottom brace which I used as a throttle and joystick stand. It worked great. The aluminum construction makes drilling easier. Light and strong, they are perfect for the arc they were designed for. The shape and height push the footrest away from the frame, and it's well made.
