Black Cover Filter Blanking Plate Review

Unfortunately, while the covers look great in the pictures, I learned the hard way that they are very cheaply made. - The material itself is very thin and bends very well. Also, the perforations are so small that they don't provide any benefit for airflow etc. In the end I decided to return them.

While other reviewers say it's fragile, it's true, but this piece doesn't need to be strong. They shouldn't load at all. Case vents are not the primary source of airflow. So if your case comes with blanking panels with large holes, this can relatively restrict airflow, but if you don't have holes, this can improve it. Unfortunately, larger openings let more dust through, so it's always a trade-off. Since my case doesn't have a baffle between the slots it would be nice to increase the thickness…

I bought these for their low price and nice looks to replace some missing slot covers in my PC case. They feel sturdy and the paint application is good. However, they are longer than required for my case and don't have the flexibility to snap the open slots in my case. As a result, they rattle even when the screw is installed. Unfortunately they don't work in my case (Aerocool P7-C1). See attached pictures for comparison.

Works well and looks good. Note that if your case requires you to unscrew all PCI slots to connect ANY PCI card, such as B. the Cooler Master Q300l to remove, these slip. This is a bad design with my case but maybe worth mentioning.
