Perfect fit for my old 18v hand saw! Was pleasantly surprised. I followed the advice of other reviewers and used common sense instead of directions. The cut-out portion of the blade simply snaps onto the handle of a similarly shaped tool. How easy was it! I will order other blades offered in this line.

This blade is larger than the one that came with the saw and I have to say it worked quickly with a 3" sapling and a few larger branches. The fact that the saw was being operated by a petite elderly woman with questionable arm and hand strength, I can only imagine what a job she could have done for someone who could add a little more momentum to the process.

vroom, vroom. I'm a girl who loves power tools. I cut the remains of the roots of a very large tree before using these blades (and a lot of effort to dig up the dirt around the upturned log). Now I'm going to use my new blades to chop down a diseased tree that I've been told would cost me $400 to remove. I think I was taken advantage of with that quote, but give me a reason to save money and use power tools at the same time and the choice is made!

OK. I knew it would happen. Single blades are no longer sold. This worked great with a saw similar to the SC500. But they want you to buy a pack of three bald heads, two of which you don't need. Luckily I bought two extras but now I have the last one. They weren't the strongest blades, but they worked great for my project. I get rid of the shoots of trees that need to be cut down to ground level. I am very angry about this. I'll look elsewhere but I doubt I'll find it.

I retired and bought an electric handsaw a few years ago after seeing a Black and Decker commercial that featured an elderly woman at the boys next door "showed up".
