EXCELLENT - worth the price

We have a gazebo that needs sanding, priming and painting. The contractor called $450. I decided to do it myself. I have a corded grinder and wanted it to be battery powered. I read a number of reviews and settled on this B&D model. I couldn't be happier. Added a photo of the pavilion (before and after). This sharpener had enough power that I sharpened the whole mandrel twice (2 different grits). The best part was the design (like an iron). I managed to get between most of the bars. For the…

Good Sander, One Issue

Of all the 20 volt Black and Decker tools I own, this is the only one that gives me trouble. It's still a good tool, does what it's supposed to do. However, sometimes the tool won't turn on. This is not a battery. It's an odd, fickle, tricky car at times, and I still haven't figured out why. I press the power button and nothing happens. I turn it off and on again, sometimes it works. Sometimes I have to tap it lightly and it starts right away. It also happens when I turn it on, it doesn't work,

Good, but the design needs to be adjusted

I bought this grinder because I needed an extra battery for my other tools and the price was right to get the grinder for free compared to a battery. Now that I have it I think I will find many uses for it. My first impressions are pretty positive so far. The device is small and light, but still feels powerful enough for an app. It seems well built for a low level tool. Some of the other reviews address this and they are right, this is due to the rather small battery capacity so it doesn't last
