We have a gazebo that needs sanding, priming and painting. The contractor called $450. I decided to do it myself. I have a corded grinder and wanted it to be battery powered. I read a number of reviews and settled on this B&D model. I couldn't be happier. Added a photo of the pavilion (before and after). This sharpener had enough power that I sharpened the whole mandrel twice (2 different grits). The best part was the design (like an iron). I managed to get between most of the bars. For the sections I couldn't reach, I added a fingertip and reached each section. I couldn't do this with my network grinder and couldn't imagine trying to do it manually. I highly recommend that you purchase the ASTOR 50 Mouse Piece Sanding Sheets ($10.99). This will give you a supply of different cereals. If you need a DIY battery powered grinder, this is the one for you.
