Very Satisfied: Angle Grinder

After reading the reviews of various "economy" angle grinders on the market, I decided that the Black & Decker G950 4 1/2" was worth trying. I glad I bought it I will probably buy another one so I can keep the cutting wheel on one and the grinding wheel on the other so I don't have to keep changing them while I work Very powerful and easy to use. Worth the dollars spent.

It works great if you only use it 5-7 times.

DO NOT BUY. It works great if you only use it for 5-7 hours before it breaks. It makes a loud cracking sound every time you pull the trigger, like the gear broke and the grinding wheel stopped spinning. The price is only so cheap because of the poor workmanship. Black and Decker doesn't take good care of the tool when it inevitably breaks. You have to pay if you can't drive a few hours to get to the nearest service center. All in all a very bad product and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Large for 4 1/2 " grinder Hard Guard

So first off I have to say I returned this item. Not for lack of power or anything else, Grinder just does more than I need This grinder isn't small, it's 4 1/2 yes, but it's at least 2-3 inches longer than other grinders, it's 17 inches long so it feels heavy and bulky in your hands - more like a 6" coffee grinder. Also, the guard only rotates about 90 degrees and is not quick to remove without a screwdriver. Rotating it more than 90 degrees may require modification of the guard bracket. I…
